Our annual THE (Theological Higher Education) conference this year deals with the vital topic of “Ministering in troubled times: a Biblical response to current ethical issues”. A number of key ethical issues are surfacing which urgently beg theological comment. We believe now is the appropriate time to examine some of these issues. The church cannot take a back seat any longer! What are the church and Christian educators currently teaching about ethics? It is imperative for church leaders and theologians to consider their response to such issues as: ethics and the Internet, stem-cell research, genetic engineering, Biofuels or food?, etc. Dr Michael Cassidy will lead a selection of speakers who will address some of these topics.
